A newlywed living in Estes Park. Loving life and exploring writing through my Chats With God.
Experience: Tracy joined the United States Army after graduating high school in 2007. She served as a Civil Affairs Specialist in the Army Reserve for five years before getting out temporarily to finish school and go on a journey to find herself after finding God.
A little more than a year later, after moving across the country, Tracy re-enlisted into the Colorado Army National Guard. She has been in the National Guard for almost five years as a Signal Support System Specialist, and just recently returned from a deployment to the Middle East.
She is now settling into married life and journeying with her new husband the road God is leading them down. Much of their navigating is being recorded in journals as they feel called to share their story to encourage the world with God’s faithfulness and love.
Education: Tracy started her education journey at Rochester Institute of Technology, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Public Relations. After spending the next few years pursuing her military career in the Signal Corps field and studying for Information Technology certifications, she began a new journey in formal education once again. Upon returning from deployment, Tracy enrolled at Liberty University, where she is currently working toward a Graduate Certificate in Military Resilience. Her next goal is to pursue a Master of Divinity, although her and God are still working out the direction of focus to pursue.
Family: Newly married in February of 2018, Tracy and her husband Mitchell are blessed to live in the mountain town of Estes Park, CO – the “Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park”.
Current Activities: Mitchell and Tracy currently call Rocky Mountain Evangelical Free Church in Estes Park home, where they are both actively involved in the prayer team. Tracy is also on the leadership team for Outreach, as well as serving on the worship team running the sound board and computer slides.
